DOVER-FOXCROFT, Maine — The Piscataquis County Democratic Committee announced plans to hold a series of three regional caucuses in Piscataquis County on Feb. 26, as part of the statewide Democratic Caucus held on that same day.

Democratic County Chair Dennis Lyford stated that the county committee felt that because of the logistics involved in organizing individual caucuses in each of Piscataquis communities on the same day, that a regional approach was more practical.

At the three regional caucuses each community attending will elected members and officers to its town committee, reprehensive to the County Committee and delegates to the Democratic convention in

Lyford said that the towns of Milo, Orneville, Brownville, Brownville Jct, Williamsburg Barnard and Medford will caucus in the town of Milo. The towns of Dover-Foxcroft, Sebec, Bowerbank, Sangerville, Guilford, Atkinson and Parkman will caucus in Dover-Foxcroft.
