EDDINGTON, Maine — Exercise your mind and your body with a writing workshop paired with a nature walk. The Writing Workshop on the Penobscot River will explore what river restoration will mean to fish, wildlife and human communities through writing exercises and field observations.
Cheryl Daigle, the community liaison and outreach coordinator for the Penobscot River Restoration Trust, will lead an open discussion using the river as a guidepost. Holly Twining, a naturalist with Maine Audubon, will lead a walk to simulate the senses in preparation for writing. The walk will be mild and slow.
Please join Cheryl and Holly at the Eddington Salmon Club from 1 to 4 p.m.¬† Saturday, Jan. 7,¬† in Eddington.
