CASTINE, Maine – The Wilson Museum will host Ropewalks: Making rope in the nineteenth century From 2:30 to 4 p.m. Thursday, June 23, at the Museum in Castine.
Participants will learn why rope was important 200 years ago, where it was made, and about the children who were paid to make rope.
