MILBRIDGE, Maine â€“ The Washington Hancock Community Agency (WHCA) recently received a $5000 planning grant from the Tibor and Anna Doby Veteran Support Fund of the Maine Community Foundation (MaineCF). WHCA will work with local VA mental health
professionals to identify simple remediation to safety and handicap accessibility issues in Washington county veteranâ€™s homes.
WHCA was founded in 1966. Its mission is to bring community resources together to help people in Washington and Hancock counties achieve self-sufficiency and better quality of life.
