Violinist to perform at Schoodic

Winter Harbor -

WINTER HARBOR -  Violinist, composer and Acadia National Park Artist-in-Residence, Shaw Pong Liu will present Sun/Sound/Rise, an interactive performance of music inspired by Acadia’s birds and dawns at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, at the Moore Auditorium on the Schoodic Education and Research Center (SERC) campus on the Schoodic peninsula.

Sun/Sound/Rise will feature compositions and works-in-progress from Liu’s Acadia residency in a unique performance which interweaves recorded bird sounds, live vocals, violin, looping pedal, and audience participation. The performance is free of charge.
