ORONO, Maine — Accounting students from the Maine Business School at the University of Maine will provide free federal and state income tax filing help for low and moderate income taxpayers. The free service will be offered on Fridays, Feb. 3 through April 13, except for March 2 and 9 during spring break. University of Maine accounting professor Steve Colburn, who oversees the program, supervises the students and reviews all returns before filing them.
