STOCKTON SPRINGS – The Stockton Springs Community Library will host its Second Annual Afternoon Tea at the library with two seatings, the first at 1:00 p.m. and the second at 3:00 p.m.Â Sunday, Sept. 12. Last yearâ€™s Afternoon Tea was a great success with both seatings sold out, so people are urged to purchase their tickets in advance.
Sweet and savory tea sandwiches, a variety of delicate desserts, and fresh brewed tea will be served in the Victorian tradition. Gift items will be available for sale in the Library Tent the afternoon of the tea. All sales will benefit the library.
Tickets are $10 per person. This event is one of the libraryâ€™s largest fundraisers.
The all volunteer library is located in the historic Colcord House, which is owned by the Stockton Springs Historical Society. The library is located on Main Street in Stockton Springs. Library hours areÂ 3:00-5:00 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, Thursday 9:00a.m. â€“ noon and 6:30 â€“ 8:30 p.m. Thursday and 9:00â€“ 3:00 p.m. Saturday.
