EASTPORT – The Late Christopher Bean combines love, envy, deception, art, greed and a bit of droll wit, in this clever depression era play about a day when the art world converges on a small New England village in search of the works of a newly discovered master, the late Christopher Bean. The play is written by Sidney Howard. It will be performed by Stage East at the Eastport Arts Center, 36 Washington Street at 7pm on Friday, July 30th and Saturday, July 31st, at 7:00 p.m., and at 3pm on Sunday, August 1st. The following weekend performances will beat 7pm on Friday, August 6th and Saturday, August 7th. A Sunday performance at 2pm on August 8th.
