WINTERPORT, Maine–Silver Willow Gallery, a non profit, Maine artisan gallery, welcomes three new artisans: Julia Ventresco of OneWomanStudio in Ellsworth is a recycling maven who reuses grain/food sacks as well as flour sacks, coffee bags and more to create handbags of all sizes and shapes. Elizabeth Clark of TwistLizzy in Bangor makes resin jewelry. Cynthia Whalen, CW Jewelry Designs of Cape Elizabeth creates jewelry featuring metal flowers that reflect the natural beauty found around us.The gallery features works of artisans from across Maine and includes paintings, photographs, cards, quilts, glass work, pottery, jewelry, soap, bird houses and more. Profits are used to bring the joy of jewelry making to the young, women in need and to the elderly as well as helping out in the community. Silver Willow Gallery is open Tuesday – Saturday, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
