Waldo Hose Number Signs

Dedham -

WALDO – A free house number signs for Waldo County citizens 70 years and older can be obtained from WC Triad on a first-come-first-served basis between now and September 30, 2010. The two-sided reflective house number signs enable first responders to easily reach seniors in need of help.
Seniors 70 years or older whose request for a sign is granted in this offer will have their sign installed properly at no charge by a police officer, firefighter, or other emergency responder. If the request of an eligible senior is received after all the free signs are gone, the senior can ask to be put on the list to receive a free sign when the Waldo County Triad again has funds to buy house signs. Triad estimates the present budget for free house signs will serve approximately 15% of eligible households in Waldo County.
Eligible seniors should write to: Chief Ron Young, 493 Hope Road,
Lincolnville ME 04846 certifying that at least one person in the household is 70 years or older, their name, street number address, town, and phone number. You will be called to set a time and date for the installation of your sign. If current funds for signs have been spent when your request arrives, you can request that your name be put on the list to receive a free sign when funds become available.

If you would like to purchase a street sign or support Triad¹s street sign fund, please contact Chief Young at the Lincolnville Police Department, 763-3555.
