Rotary Club’s ‘Music Off Broadway’ Raises Funds for Nonprofits

Bangor -

BANGOR – The Rotary Club of Bangor is scheduled to present its 6th annual Music Off Broadway production at 7 :30 p.m. Saturday, March 26 3 p.m.  Sunday, March 27 at Bangor High School’s Peakes Auditorium. This year’s theme is America’s Bandstand.

With Roger George producing and Ben Layman and Heather Astbury-Libby co-directing, a cast of about 25 talented community members will shake, rattle and roll their way through more than 30 popular songs from the 50’s to the 80’s, including “Blue Velvet,” “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” and “Crazy Little Thing Called Love.”

Tickets are $18 for adults, $15 for seniors and$10 for youth. They will be available starting February 15 from club members and at BookMarc’s, Mr. Paperback at the Airport Mall, Patrick’s Hallmark at Broadway Shopping Center and prior to each performance at the door.
