CAMDEN, Maine — New Year’s resolutions that come from within, instead of those made with the ‘should’ word in mind, are the ones that work.
Life Coach Nancy Lubin has experienced this “inside-out” principle in action and will share it during her eighth annual Revolutionary Resolutions Workshop from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, at Waterfall Events Center, Knox Mill, Washington St.
“We’ll work together taking stock of 2011 and will do creative visioning exercises to help each person identify personal goals that are energizing, fun and achievable for 2012,” says Lubin. “The best resolutions are driven by what’s deeply satisfying and meaningful to each individual. They work because they stem from what truly motivates a person, rather than from the pressures of outside influences. This workshop will help people stay on track by defining strategies for achieving success throughout the next 12 months.”
Many participants return to the workshop year after year, glad to have found a supportive community in which to explore their values, discover want they really want and develop solid support systems and action plans. They enjoy meeting their goals gradually throughout the year, instead of giving up on them after a few weeks.
A registration fee of $35 — $25 for students – will cover the cost of materials. Additional donations will be gratefully accepted. Advance registration is required. Coffee and tea will be provided. To register, call Nancy Lubin at 236-4069, or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. Complete workshop details are available at: www.intention.com/category/workshops.
