Belfast, Brunswick and Bar Harbor -

BELFAST, Maine — Rinpoche will be in the area giving teachings from July 21-26, 2011. There will be a public talk on Rinoche at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 21, at the Belfast Free Library in the Abbott Room. Rinpoche is the term used to refer to Anam Thubten, a Buddhist scholar from Tibet. It is a term of endearment that he likens to “brother” or “sister,” the same titles used to address monks and nuns in Christian monasteries and convents. A $10 donation is suggested but no one is turned away for lack of funds. For more information about additional public talks and retreats from July 22- 26, call Katia Ancona, 323-5393 or email katia@relaxationcopilot.com.
