November programs at the Lincoln Memorial Library

LINCOLN, Maine — The annual Town of Lincoln’s Halloween Party will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31, at the Ella P. Burr School. Stop by and check out our haunted library decorations.

The Lincoln Memorial Library will host a¬† “Fireside Chat” at 5:15 p.m.¬† Wednesday, Nov. 16 and at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17,¬† located at 21 West Broadway.¬† New readers are always welcome to attend. This month the groups are reading “The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency by Alexander McCall Smith.

Our children’s room has the following programs for November schedules:
Story Jam meets at 4 p. m.every Tuesday, ages 5 and older. The Jam features fun after school activities including story telling, music, and other creative activities.
Baby and Me story time meets at 11 a.m. Wednesday’s for babies 23 months and under.
Lego Club meets every Wednesday from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
Tales for Tots meets every Thursday at 11 a.m. a special story time for ages 5 and under.

Teens wanted! I am looking for teens to join our Teen Advisory Board starting in January! Our teen room “The Teen Zone” is undergoing some renovations in November and I would like your input. The “Teen Zone” is a special place for teens to meet after school and use our computers or their own with our wireless, to read, to catch up with friends and enjoy the large collection of new teen fiction, teen non-fiction and magazines.
