ROCKLAND – A special Maine Lobster Festival appearance from Maine’s original country rebel, Kelly Parker and the Kelly Parker Band will be the opening act for country legend Clint Black at 7pm on Saturday, August 7th.
Continuing a summer tour that includes shows with country greats such as Travis Tritt, Keith Anderson (who co-wrote “Lost In This Moment” with Big and Rich) to new comers such as James Otto, Topsam Maine native Kelly Parker’s impassioned and heartfelt vocals have charmed audiences ranging from small intimate clubs and honky tonks to larger arenas performing with and opening for Josh Turner, Williams Riley Band, Grammy Award winner Brad Paisley, Jodee Messena, Keith Urban and more.
The Maine Lobster Festival, now in it’s 63rd year, celebrates the greatest traditions of Maine with boats, artists, crafts, music and fun. From Lobster to Fried-dough, rock and roll to country music, this annual event continues to grow in size and magnitude with every passing year.
