Maine artist wins award in North American Art Exhibition

Gloucester, Ma. -

Watercolor Painting: "Tying The Scallop Dredge"

INDIAN ISLAND – The New England Watercolor Society is pleased to announce that Michael E. Vermette of Indian Island, Maine has won an award in the 12th Biennial North American Exhibition at the North Shore Arts Association in Gloucester, Massachusetts for his painting; “Tying The Scallop Dredge”. The exhibition hours 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, runs through Oct. 24. at the North Shore Arts Association.

This exciting exhibition includes 91 extraordinary paintings selected from over 500 submissions by some of the best watercolor artists from across the US and Canada. Admission to the exhibit and all related events is free of charge and open to the public.
