Local Benefit Concert

Woolwich -

WOOLWICH -  The GENESIS Network, a nonprofit organization that develops humans rights projects to help at-risk children and communities around the world, will be hosting a benefit concert to build a school for children at risk of trafficking and prostitution in Thailand. The concert is from 5-9pm, Saturday, July 31 at 47 Old Arrowsic Road, Woolwich, ME. It is open to the public and cost free. Attendees will include philanthropists, friends, family and members of the local community.

The concert will be held outdoors, is open to people of all ages, and will feature folk music from an array of well-known artists. Rebecca Leobe, according to WYEP Pittsburgh, brings “the whit of Dar, the bite of Ani, and the beauty of Norah” to the folk music scene. Sean Hasey and Fred Gillen Jr. will offer up passionate presentations of hope and joy with his guitar- and harmonica-driven melodies.
