Last Installment of Wait Until Dark Movie Series September 3rd at Waterfall Arts

Belfast -

BELFAST – Wait Until Dark the Maine Movie Series is scheduled to show the evening’s films in the Fallout Shelter at 8:15 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3 at Waterfall Arts Belfast. Daniel Quintanilla‚Äôs Perimetro, along with work by other Maine filmmakers, will be featured. Of his short film, Quintanilla said, “Look out into the horizon, separate the earth from the sky, what do you see? Per√≠metro is a film that invites the viewer to dwell if only for a moment in that space. Viewers accompany painter Judith Olson and filmmaker Daniel Quintanilla as they fl√Ęnent (wander) through the Maine forests and visit the outer edges of an experience anchored on Olson‚Äôs paintings and border sounds.” The Inner Circle Jazz trio will play a set before the screenings at 7:30 p.m. The film series is funded in part by an Artists in Maine Communities grant from the Maine Arts Commission, an independent state agency supported by the National Endowment for the Arts. Admission at the door is $2. Waterfall Arts Belfast is located at 256 High Street. For more information, visit www.waterfallarts.org or call 207.338.2222.
