Kitchen Traditions – Tutti Frutti

CASTINE, Maine РTutti Frutti or brandied fruit will be the topic for the 3rd session of Wilson Museum’s Kitchen Traditions series. Director Patty Hutchins will demonstrate this method of preserving the short-seasoned, tender fruits of summer at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6, at the hearth of the historic John Perkins House on Perkins Street in Castine. Admission of $5 will include a guided tour of the Perkins House. Other recipes to be explored on selected Wednesdays throughout the summer will include pickles and spiced crab apples.
