CASTINE, Maine – Tutti Frutti or brandied fruit will be the topic for the 3rd session of Wilson Museum‚Äôs Kitchen Traditions series. Director Patty Hutchins will demonstrate this method of preserving the short-seasoned, tender fruits of summer at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6, at the hearth of the historic John Perkins House on Perkins Street in Castine. Admission of $5 will include a guided tour of the Perkins House. Other recipes to be explored on selected Wednesdays throughout the summer will include pickles and spiced crab apples.
