BLUE HILL, Maine — Bar Harbor artist Emily Bracale will exhibit her artwork in a show about Lyme Disease– In the Lyme-Light: Portraits of Illness and Healing– at the Blue Hill Public Library during the month of February. The show is both a personal account of her experience with Lyme disease and an event designed to educate the general public about the disease. The exhibit consists of 27 paintings done in acrylic and collage materials mounted on birch plywood. It has been shown at galleries and libraries around the state and will also travel to Chicago and Vermont. She has recently published a book of the same name, available at www.inthelyme-light.com
