OLD TOWN, Maine — The Girl Scouts of Maine announces that Grace Gonnella of Old town, a member of Troop 152, has earned the prestigious Girl Scout Gold Award for her community service initiative titled Project 4-H Club. Realizing that there was a need in the community, Gonnella created and led a 4-H Youth Development Program in Old town. The 4-H goal is to prepare young people to step up to the challenges in their community and to receive the real world experience they need to become leaders.
