BAR HARBOR, Maine – The College of the Atlantic and the Beatrix Farrand Society presents Dr. Douglas Tallamy, author of  Bring Nature Home, to a free lecture from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, in the Thomas S. Gates, Jr. Community Center at College of the Atlantic. Dr. Tallamy will use many illustrations from his research and experience on natural landscaping. Copies of Dr. Tallamy’s book, Bringing Nature Home, will be available for purchase and signing. Registration is encouraged. For more information or to register, call 288-0237.
