Free Concerts at Bangor Library

Bangor, Maine -

BANGOR – The Bangor Public Library’s Summer Music Series offers free Wednesday night concerts, featuring musicians from near and far, and featuring programs for music lovers of all ages and tastes.
Prevailing Winds Saxophone Quartet will perform at 7pm on Wednesday, July 14th. This group’s eclectic choice of music has something for everybody.
The internationally known duo, Phillip and Noreen Silver will appear in concert on Wednesday, July 21st at 7 PM in the Bangor Library’s Lecture Hall. This piano and cello duo, who have performed around the world, make their home in Maine.
The AcouSticks Recorder Quartet from Orono will perform at 7pm on Wednesday, July 28th. They will be bringing us a program of early music, and will appear in the Bangor Library’s Lecture Hall.
On Wednesday, August 11, the Heart of Maine Chorus will appear at the Library on the Children’s Room Patio. These local harmonizers are an audience favorite. In case of inclement weather, outdoor concerts will be brought indoors.
The Library’s concert series is brought to you in part by Bangor Savings Bank and Gross Minsky and Mogul Law Office.
Be sure to pick up your Summer Music Series calendars at the Bangor Library. All concerts scheduled for outdoors will be brought into the Library in the case of inclement weather.
