Exhibit of Absract Painting as Lincoln Street Center

Rockland -

ROCKLAND, Maine — Helen Corning will exhibit her acrylic abstract paintings with an opening reception from 5-7 p.m. Friday, July 29, at the Jean B. Chalmers Art Gallery, Lincoln Street Center for Arts & Education, 24 Lincoln St. in Rockland. The show runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday, through Aug. 11, at the Gallery.

A new Thomaston transplant from Washington DC, Corning maintained studios around the world including Tokyo Japan, and Ein Hod, Israel. For the past 30 years her studio has been in Kensington, Maryland. This past winter she moved to Thomaston, Maine, and set up a studio at the Lincoln Street Center in Rockland.
