Eastern Maine Pops Orchestra for Young Musicians to perform at Hammond Hall

WINTER HARBOR, Maine — The Eastern Maine Pops Orchestra for Young Musicians, TEMPO, performs at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at Hammond Hall. Fulfilling its mission as a pops orchestra, “Autumn Glory” will be a presentation consisting of a number of well-known orchestral works ranging from the “1812 Overture” and the “Centennial Overture” to an arrangement of the popular Broadway musical, “Grease.” Mount Desert Island trombonist, Adam Perruzzi, will be the featured soloist in an arrangement of Jim Stienman’s iconic rock classic, “For Crying Out Loud” from Meatloaf’s first album. An ensemble will perform the” Rondo alla Turca” and “Sonata K 331” by Mozart.
