Downtown Bangor offers Trick of Treating for children

BANGOR, Maine — Ghosts, goblins, witches, wizards and more will be wandering the streets of Downtown from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, during the second annual Downtown Bangor Trick or Treating event that provides a safe environment for parents to bring children trick or treating during daylight hours. Lat year, more than 200 children participated in this community event. Participating businesses will be identified by a special poster on their front doors or windows. Currently, more than 20 businesses, ranging from retail and restaurants to service businesses and arts organizations, have signed up to participate. Additional special events are planned at downtown businesses throughout Halloween weekend and an up-to-date listing is available at www.downtownbangor.com.
