JEFFERSON, Maine — The Maine Forest Service District Forester Morten Moesswilde will present a program about managing your timber harvest from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, at the Damariscotta Lake Watershed Association (DLWA) office, 38 Lake Farm Circle.
This program is geared toward any landowner who has ever considered having some of their timber cut. Moesswilde will talk about harvest planning, working with professional foresters and loggers, different harvest methods, wood values, closing out the job, and other aspects of harvesting.
