ROCKLAND – Designer, Gianna Ida Short of See Line Apparel and Photographer, Nicole Marie Fuller of Nicole Marie Images will debut their summer collection at ’407 Runway’ Fashion Show at 7:00pm on Saturday, July 24th.¬† The event will be hosted by 407 Studios, an art cooperative consisting of six artists and by Asymmetrick Arts, a mixed media art gallery, located at 405 Main Street in Rockland, Maine.
The fashion show is the result of Gianna’s desire to take See Line Apparel, her clothing line, more seriously and Nicole’s commitment to collaborating and sharing her resources with other creative people. Gianna’s designs have come to life in Nicole’s studio, located in 407 Studios, which houses a recently acquired sewing machine and a silk screen printing station. This joint venture has lead to the creative duo starring in a short documentary film entitled “The Rack”, filmed by Brennan Wesley, a film student at the Maine Media Workshop. In the film, Giana states, “… her [Nicole] confidence in my abilities as a designer gives me the confidence to make my things better.” In describing their creative relationship Nicole simply exclaims, “She inspire me and has taught me so much …”

There will be a Behind the Scenes Affair upstairs at 407 Studios with live models in the windows of Asymmetrick Arts downstairs from 5:00pm – 7:00pm. The runway portion of the show will also be at Asymmetrick Arts from 7:00pm – 8:00pm. After the show, Nicole Marie Images, will host an Open Studio at 407 Studios.
