Costume Party and Bedtime Story at the Blue Hill Public Library

BLUE Hill, Maine — As part of the Blue Hill Public Library‚Äôs summer reading program, One World, Many Stories, the Library will host an international costume party and bedtime story program for children ages 4-12 at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, at¬† the Library. Children are invited to come dressed in a costume that represents their cultural heritage or any culture they like. Costumes are optional but there will be dress-up items available.

Folkloric costumes and ensembles can be very simple to put together: hats, scarves, belts, jewelry, boots, sandals, eye patches and moustaches are just some of the possibilities. Children will listen to traditional bedtime stories and sing lullabies. For more information, call Pat at 374-5515.
