Boy Scouts visit Gettysburg

Searsport -

SEARSPORT – Boy Scout Troop 215 in Searsport recently took a trip to Gettysburg PA. Before the trip local Historian and Teacher Charlene Farris gave the boy’s a history lesson on the Civil War and the impact Maine had in the war. Trip highlights were visiting the Eisenhower Farm, the Civil War Museum, touring the battlefield, a ghost walk, Harley Davidson Manufacturing plant, and the Richard Nixon Environmental Education Center.
