Book Sale

Blue Hill -

BLUE HILL, Maine — Join Friends of Blue Hill Public Library for their first-Saturday-of-the-month book sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, in the library’s basement “book nook”.

The October sale will feature a new section of vintage and collectible cookbooks, new special collections of books on theology (including a complete 25 volume set of Biblical commentary on the old testament, a series of study guides to the New Testament and the Layman’s Theological Library), many books on business and business ethics; and an expanded section of books about Maine or by Maine authors. There are thousands of used books for all ages on nearly all topics, thanks to copious donations. There is also an ongoing paperback sale on the Library’s second floor, accessible anytime the Library is open!

Book sale proceeds enable the Friends to sponsor many of the special programs offered at the library, for both children and adults, and to make special purchases of books, DVDs, etc., and equipment for the library. To donate books that are in good condition or for more information, contact the Library at 374-5515.
