BELFAST – The Belfast Co-op is holding it’s annual Customer Appreciation Day from 10am to 6pm¬† on Saturday, August 21st. All are welcome! Seven hours of free live music, free massages and health coaching, cook-out, free samples of Theo’s chocolates and Captain Eli’s sodas…..have we got your attention yet? To thank our valued customers there will be door prizes, in-store sales and product samples from local vendors. Enjoy local music and a cook-out complete with grass-fed beef burgers by Wee Bit Farm, veggie burgers, hot dogs and local sweet corn-on-the-cob.
This year’s music lineup includes the Bel-Isle Quartet, Noel Paul Stookey, Fiddler‚Äôs Jamboree, Belfast Co-op’s own Wild Rutabagas, Travis Lloyd Band, Willy Kelly Band and Odlaw.
Local alternative health care practitioners will host a health fair offering free mini-consultations in massage, ayurvedic medicine, naturopathics, yoga and diabetes prevention & reversal.
The day would not be complete without the opportunity to give back to the community. To raise money for local nonprofits there will be a book sale and gift basket raffles. Receive a free raffle ticket for each nonperishable food item donated for the Northport Food Pantry. The Co-op will also host a Blood Mobile and New Hope for Women will be selling tickets for their fundraising concert with David Mallett.
Please join us for this fun-filled annual event which raises 100′s of dollars for local charities and brings people together around natural food and healthy living.
