The auction will take place at the Cumberland County Fairgrounds in Cumberland, ME. An unreserved auction means that all items will sell to the highest bidder with no minimums or reserve prices. The highest bidder wins. Online bidding is available for this sale. Interest in this collection has come from as far as Italy to California. Raised on a dairy farm in Whitefield, Maine, at the age of 14, Phil purchased his first car, a 1939 Plymouth for $50. Phil later sold this car for $75, and thus started his life long automotive career. Since that first sale in 1956, Phil has bought and sold 1,000′s of automobiles, nationwide and overseas.
