BANGOR – Author/adventurer, Pam Flowers, will speak about her experiences on the Appalachian Trail at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 11, in the library’s Lecture Hall. The event is free and open to the public. In 1996 Flowers became the 14th recipient of the “Gold Medal From The Society of Woman Geographers”, following in the foot steps of Amelia Earhart and Jane Goodall.
