WINTER HARBOR, Maine — The Schoodic Series Lecture presents, The Making of a Happy and Healthy Ranched Bluefin Tuna, with Nicole Kirchhoff, at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, at the Moore Auditorium on the campus of the Schoodic Education and Research Center, Acadia National Park.
Winter Harbor is one of the few harbors in the United States where Atlantic Bluefin Tuna are landed. Join former summer resident Nicole Kirchhoff as she presents some of her current research on the Atlantic Tuna. Her research focuses on the health of the Southern Bluefin Tuna throughout the time they are raised in order to enhance the sustainability of Tuna culture.
