Artist Call for Gibbs Library Gallery Show

WASHINGTON – The  Gibbs Library is calling painters and photographers to submit their work to be displayed in two Washington gallery shows. To celebrate the town’s Bicentennial Celebration, the shows will highlight people, places and things of Washington. This is not a juried show and there is no fee to participate.

The photography show will be held May 5 – Aug. 2. Photographs may be brought to the library from 4-7 p.m. May 3 or 5:30-6:30 p.m. May 4.

The painting show will be August 4 – November 2. Paintings may be brought to Gibbs Library 4-7 p.m. Aug. 2 or 5:30-6:30 p.m. Aug. 3.

Each work must include a short statement about the piece. All work must have eye hooks on the back of the frames as close to the top as possible. Finished or framed work must not exceed 72” in circumference.
