An Evening of Story-telling About Life in Blue Hill

Blue Hill -

BLUE HILL, Maine — WERU-FM and the Blue Hill Public Library invite the public to take part in an evening of story-telling called “The WERU Story Forum: Blue Hill” at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, at the Library.

The event will be hosted by Rob McCall, producer of Awanadjo Almanack on WERU, author, and long-time pastor of the Blue Hill Congregational Church. Story-telling has seen a resurgence in popularity in recent years, with radio shows and even “story slams” devoted to the art.

Please come and share your memories and stories about Blue Hill, past and present. What makes Blue Hill special? What is it like to live here? How has it changed over the years? What stories did your grandparents tell about the place? Stories will be recorded for broadcast on WERU, and for the library to keep for future generations.
