ST. ANDREWS â€“Alexandra Cousteau, granddaughter of legendary explorer Jacques Cousteau, will be on hand to raise funds for the Huntsman Marine Science Centre at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22 at the Shaughnessy Room of the historic Fairmont Algonquin.
The event in St. Andrews will kick off at 6:30 p.m. with a â€śmeet and greetâ€ť reception featuring light hors d’Ĺ“uvre, cash bar, and the opportunity for guests to meet and mingle with Cousteau and the crew. Beginning at 7:30 p.m., Cousteau and her team will present an exclusive preview of clips gathered from the field and discuss â€śWater Matters: An Entertaining Evening of Films and Stories.â€ť Memorabilia from the expedition â€“ works of art, and much more â€“ will be offered in a silent auction throughout the evening.
