BAR HARBOR – The Acadia National Park annual pass sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Dec. 1 through Dec. 3o at the Winter Visitor Center at park headquarters on the Eagle Lake Road, Route 233. Passes will be sold at half price, or $20, and must be obtained in person with cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover. No phone orders will be taken. The winter visitor center is open every day except Dec. 24, 25, and 31.
The annual passes will also be available for $20 at The Gouldsboro Town Office will have passes available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, Dec. 1 – Dec. 30. ; and from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday. Passes must be paid for by check or cash only, not by credit card. No phone orders will be taken.
The half price sale will also take place at two other town offices, Tremont and Mt. Desert, December 1 through December 30. The Tremont office 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. The Mt. Desert office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. They will be closed on December 24 but open all day on December 23. Payment must be by cash or check only, and no phone orders will be taken.
Acadia annual passes will also be sold for $20 at the annual Bar Harbor Midnight Madness Sale from 8 a.m. to midnight Friday, Dec. 3 at the Acadia information site located on the Village Green.
