BELFAST – The Waldo County General Hospital in partnership with RSU 20 and RSU 3 is providing school-based flu vaccine clinics for children 36 months and older. The first clinic will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16 at the Troy Howard Middle School. The second will take place from 3-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21 at Mt. View High School.
Parents/Guardians are asked to attend these clinics with their child. Permission and information forms will be coming home with your children. Some children 6 months through 9 years of age may need two doses of vaccine this year. For information about flu and the vaccine go to www.maineflu.gov. or www.flu.gov.
