ELLSWORTH – Living Well: Spirituality, Illness, Health & Well-Being is the program to be conducted by Facilitator, Sara Hayman Huisjen, LMSW, M.Div. Hospice Chaplain, Hancock County HomeCare & Hospice from 3:30-5 p.m.Thursday Feb. 17 at the Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center, 3 High St., Ellsworth. People living with a serious illness often ask questions that point toward a hunger to understand and grapple with issues related to spirituality in their efforts to seek comfort, to make meaning of the experience and to search for hope in the midst of struggle: This program will meet one day a month and participants will be invited to enter into a gentle, supported process of story-telling, active listening to each other and self-reflection that seeks to delve into spirituality as a source of struggle & strength.
