Salvation Army Offers Free Christmas Trees

Bangor -

BANGOR – The Salvation Army in Bangor has more than 70 Christmas trees to give away to anyone who may need them. Thanks to a generous donation from Lowes, those who may have missed the opportunity to get a tree can have one at no cost.
The trees can be picked up any time in the parking lot of The Salvation Army’s main office at 65 S. Park St. in Bangor. Anyone can take a tree, and can choose from what is available while they last.
This is another way that, through generous community support, The Salvation Army is able to assist the people of Greater Bangor. In the past week, nearly 400 families received assistance with toys, clothing and food for Christmas.
