Jewelry Party Fundraiser to Benefit Spruce Run

Hampden -

HAMPDEN – Amanda Coburn, owner of Riverside Jewelry Designs, and co-owner of Jewelry Artisans of Maine Cooperative Store in Hampden is hosting a Jewelry Party Fundraiser to benefit Spruce Run domestic violence project from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8. The Jewelry Artisans of Maine Cooperative Store will donate 20% of all sales to the Spruce Run Organization that evening.

Coburn has specifically designed a line of jewelry to benefit the Spruce Run organization. The “Domestic Violence Awareness Daisy” represents a support network: family, friends, faith, and community. Each facet of one’s support network can work alone or together to assist a person in escaping an abusive situation. The daisy jewelry was designed to celebrate that network and raise awareness of it’s importance.

Spruce Run domestic violence project is dedicated to serving people affected by domestic abuse in our community while working simultaneously to eliminate personal, institutional, and cultural violence against all individuals.

Refreshments will be served and you will have an opportunity to meet with several of the jewelry artisans. Please RSVP to mainejewelryart@yahoo.com or call 941-9636.
