BANGOR – Join the Unitarian Universalist Society of Bangor (UUSB) for a five dollar fiber swap at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 27 at 120 Park Street in Bangor. Here’s how it works: You bring good quality yarn or roving, or fabric at least one yard in length to the swap. You pay five dollars to enter the swap. You will receive a token and will place your items in the appropriate swap pile. Then the fun begins … you go shopping and leave the swap with the same amount you came in with, only it is fiber you want to use! If you have fabric that is less than one yard, we will have a scrap pile, but those items will not be part of the swap. Please bring only yarn, roving, and fabric that is good quality, clean, and tidy. Proceeds from the swap will benefit our Shawl Ministry and Religious Education programs.
