AUGUSTA, Maine — Crisis & Counseling Centers (C&C) will relocate from its current location at 32 Winthrop Street, Augusta, to 10 Caldwell Road, in Augusta. Crisis services will be uninterrupted during the move, reachable, as always, by calling the statewide crisis line 1-888-568-1112 or the local number 621-2552. C&C’s Outpatient services, including substance abuse, mental health and medication management, will be closed Thursday, Sept. 8 and Friday, Sept. 9 and will resume operations in the new location on Monday, Sept. 12.
Crisis & Counseling Centers is a private, nonprofit social service agency licensed by the State of Maine as a mental health and substance abuse treatment facility. With clinical programs operating out of eight locations, the organization is the sole provider of 24-hour mobile crisis response and stabilization in Kennebec and Somerset counties (responding to more than 1,000 calls each month and conducting between 400 and 500 face to face assessments in the community, each month).
