BAR HARBOR – April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and in observance, Downeast Sexual Assault Services will be distributing packets to all high schools and colleges in Hancock County with prevention information dealing with Cyberbullying and available resources.
A quilt made by sexual assault survivors will be on display throughout the month of April in the lobby of Downeast Health Services on the Christian Ridge Road in Ellsworth.
A Speak Out and Take Back the Night event will be from 6:30-8:30p.m. Monday, April 25, at the College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor.¬† For more information, visit www.downeasthealth.org .
