Upon completion of the class, participants will become ‚ÄúCertified Renovators‚ÄĚ who then can apply for certification through the US EPA.
The RRP course compliments Lead Poisoning Prevention efforts in which Healthy Acadia and other local Healthy Maine Partnerships are engaging. ‚ÄúWe have a wealth of resources to get out to community members who may be looking for more information on lead and prevention measures. Many homes within the Downeast region date back pre 1978, and we want to be able to share important information with home owners and renters in order to protect their families with a safe living environment‚ÄĚ. States Kelly Corson, newly appointed Lead Poisoning Prevention contact for the Downeast District.
