How Foods Fight Cancer classes begin Jan. 12 at Pen Bay

ROCKPORT, Maine — Join Chef MiMi McGee, the Cancer Project’s Food For Life cooking instructor, for a series of weekly nutrition and cooking classes entitled, ” How Foods Fight Cancer, ” from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.¬† Thursdays, Jan. 12, 19, 26, and Feb. 2, at the Picker Family Resource Center, located on the pen Bay campus. The classes are open to cancer survivors, friends, family and anyone interested in cancer prevention and healthy eating. There is a $60 fee per person for the 4-class series with preregistration required. For more information or to register, call 596-8956.
