Coast Guard Auxiliary presents Public Fall Boating Classes

Bangor -

BANGOR – The Bangor Flotilla of the Coast Guard Auxiliary will offer Basic Boating Skills & Seamanship Classes at Bangor High School Monday nights 7-9 p.m.  Sept. 13 through Dec. 6. There is a small class fee and the text book can be shared among family members.

Classes are taught by local Coast Guard Auxiliary officers and are open to anyone wishing to improve their boating skills and will include: Equipping Your Boat, Trailering, Your ‘Highway’ Signs, Rules of the Road, Your Radio, Lines & Knots, Weather, and an Introduction to Navigation.
