CHARLOTTE – Wondering what your kindergarten teacher, Miss Feilbach, looks like now or what bus Lena James is driving (yes, she’s still driving!)? You won’t want to miss a fun day this summer at the Charlotte Elementary School! The school will be hosting an Alumni Family Day at the school from 2-7pm on Sunday, August 8th. (rain or shine). The event—a sort of school reunion—is for former and current students, parents, families, teachers and staff, and friends of any Charlotte school. Sponsored by the current parent-teacher group, Charlotte School Friends, the event will feature a pot luck cookout. The organization will provide barbeque chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers, and drinks. Those who attend are asked to bring a salad or sweets to share. Other activities will include a softball game, organized children’s games, playground fun, bounce house, dunk tank, cotton candy, displays of new and old school pictures and more. Come reconnect with classmates and reminisce about the “good old days” at a Charlotte School. For more information, check out the school’s website www.charlotteschool.net or find us on Facebook, “Charlotte School People”. Please RSVP by August 1, by calling School Friends, president, Krista Vining, at (207) 454-2353 or emailing her at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please help spread the word to others who may have a connection with a Charlotte school.
